We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Direct Care Staff (DCS) to join our team at a licensed Level 4I Adult Residential Facility. This position involves providing individualized support and care to adults with developmental disabilities in a 24-hour staff-operated home. Direct Care Staff play a vital role in helping residents achieve personal goals, maintain safety, and live with dignity and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
  • Implement individualized service plans (ISPs) and behavioral support plans in alignment with Regional Center guidelines and Title 17 and Title 22 regulations.
  • Monitor and document residents’ progress, behaviors, and medical needs accurately and consistently.
  • Administer and document medications in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
  • Support residents in community integration, recreation, transportation, and social skills development.
  • Assist with meal preparation and ensure special dietary needs are followed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive living environment at all times.
  • Participate in regular staff meetings, training sessions, and ongoing in-service education.
  • Respond to emergencies using appropriate crisis intervention techniques.
  • Uphold residents’ rights, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Completion of DSP I & II Training, or willingness to complete within required timeframes.
  • Must have or be able to obtain: First Aid/CPR Certification, Adult Residential Facility (ARF) Clearance, and criminal background clearance (Live Scan).
  • Previous experience in a Level 4 or similar residential setting preferred.

Schedule:

  • Shifts: AM / PM / Overnight (8-hour, 12-hour, or split shifts based on facility needs)
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays as required
