BIM Supportive Living, is seeking Direct Care Staff to provide defined, non skilled care services under the supervision of the administrator to enable the client to live in the home. The non-licensed direct care staff is responsible for providing in-home personal care and daily living tasks as outlined by an individual service plan of individuals who are physically disabled, mentally alert or mentally challenged. and unable to perform these activities independently.
BIM Supportive Living provides 24-hour care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities who require assistance in their own homes. The primary goal is to help clients maintain independence and remain in a familiar and safe environment while receiving the necessary care and support.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist clients with daily living activities (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Prepare meals and provide assistance with feeding as needed.
Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
Social and Emotional Support: Providing companionship and emotional care to ensure clients feel supported.
Administer prescribed medications and monitor health conditions.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for clients.
Document care provided and report any changes in the client's condition.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to coordinate care.
Assist clients with managing and attending their medical appointments, including scheduling and transportation.
Perform personal hygiene care and basic housekeeping duties.
Ensure a safe and clean living environment for clients.
