The Facility Administrator position is a skilled para-professional position providing first-line supervision and direct services to individuals with Behavorial challenges in a residential home
Essential Functions of the Job are to complete the following:

  • Supervise direct care staff and manage operations at a Specialized Residential Facility, to include training and scheduling staff.
  • Establish an employee engaged culture.
  • Coordinate, supervise and participate in the activities of the specialized program and maintain staffing patterns to ensure quality of care.
  • Provide direct care for Individual's served while, promoting individual choice, freedom, and responsibility.
  • Oversee Individual's health by observing behaviors and consulting with primary care physicians, agencies, and family/guardians regarding needed services.
  • Maintains facility files, progress notes and daily activities in communication logs to ensure compliance with all regulations.
  • Manage the facility basic bookkeeping and audit account ledgers.
  • Coordinate transportation for Individuals, including one-on-one supervision if required, to day sites, appointments, and other activities.
  • Establish an employee engaged culture.
  • Conduct and attend monthly meetings and trainings.
  • Follow company policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
· High school diploma, GED or equivalent; and two years of progressively responsible experience with developmentally disabled adults in a residential setting; or any equivalent combination of directly related education and experience.
· Must have a current ARF Administrator Certification.
· Must be at least 21 years of age.
· Ability to lift 50 pounds, perform standard First Aid, CPR, Non-Violent Crisis intervention and observe person served rights.
· Must be available by phone or cell phone for easy access by staff.
· State of California Community Care Licensing Fingerprint Clearance and Dept. of Justice clearance.
· A valid California Class C driver’s license
· Must be insurable under the company automobile policy if position requires driving a company vehicle.
· Direct Support Professional 1 and 2 classroom training certification.
· Ability to work 40 hours per week, on-call.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
