Position

The Client Care Coordinator’s (“CCC” or “C3”) primary responsibility is to implement the support, supervision, and training services necessary to meet the needs of the clients as outlined in the client’s Individual Service Plan (ISP). The Client Care Coordinator is the direct supervisor to the Direct Support Staff and is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the home and the services provided to their assigned clients. The Client Care Coordinator is required to respond to after hour on-call situations; possess an ARF Administrators License; and will be assigned an initial case load of up to 4 clients in one location, and expanding to no more than 8 clients in two locations. The Client Care Coordinator is required to be directly involved with the delivery, oversight and management of client services (e.g. “in the field”) 100% of the time (a minimum of 40 hours per week), except for those trainings and meetings as required by the program or management. The Client Care Coordinator is an hourly non-exempt position.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Meets all State, Agency, Regional Center, and Company requirements and employment policies (Title 17, Title 22, relevant Health & Safety Codes, etc.) for ARF/RCFE Site Administrator, including but not limited to criminal background clearance requirements, health clearance requirements, work authorizations, proof of education and experience, and required training and certifications.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a preferred field of study or a Licensed Psychiatric Technician or a minimum of 4 years’ experience working in management overseeing individuals with developmental disabilities or equivalent social work experience.
  • Background clearances must remain CCLD/DSS approved for all licensed locations without limitation or exemptions.
  • Successful completion of the competency-based Direct Support Professional Training program and possess Direct Support Professional Certifications for Year 1 and Year 2 within six months of hire or promotion.
  • Maintain current CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training (including team control positioning and CPI transport positioning) and CPI Certificate.
  • Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision to developmentally disabled adults as well as the ability to communicate with such clients.
  • All aspects of work attendance and participation must be punctual, dependable, and reliable.
  • Must demonstrate professionalism; tact; good judgment and problem-solving skills; and exhibit unquestionable work ethics.
  • Must be fluent in the spoken and written English language and possess professional-level writing skills.
  • Must meet competency requirements for basic computer and software usage.
  • Must possess a valid driver license and maintain current automobile liability insurance.
  • Clean Driving Record (No more than 3 traffic violations in a 3-year period excluding parking tickets).
  • Must meet the bank qualifications necessary to be listed as a signer on client fund accounts.
