STRTP Administrator (Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program)

Job Summary

We are hiring a qualified and passionate STRTP Administrator to lead our residential treatment program for youth. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the facility, ensuring compliance with Community Care Licensing (CCL) and STRTP regulations, supervising staff, and helping shape the therapeutic environment for the youth we serve.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the STRTP in accordance with state licensing standards (Title 22, STRTP guidelines).
• Supervise and support direct care and clinical staff.
• Ensure a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for youth.
• Manage audits, licensing reviews, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Work closely with Clinical Director and therapists to deliver trauma-informed care.
• Conduct regular staff evaluations, training, and development.
• Coordinate with outside agencies, schools, and families to support youth care plans.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and ensure timely reporting.
• Support crisis intervention and maintain high behavioral standards.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or related field.
• Required: Certified STRTP Administrator (per California Health & Safety Code §1522.41) OR enrolled in an approved certification program.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or administrative role in a residential or behavioral health setting.
• Strong knowledge of CCL regulations, STRTP policies, and trauma-informed care.
• Must pass DOJ/FBI background check, TB test, and physical.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Schedule

• Full-time (some evening/weekend hours may be required)
• On-call responsibilities as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
