Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the Program Administrator, the Program Super Lead oversees daily operations of an Enhanced Behavioral Support Home (EBSH) serving adults (18–59) with developmental disabilities and co-occurring behavioral, psychiatric, or emotional challenges. This role provides direct care, staff supervision, behavioral support, and administrative oversight while ensuring resident safety, regulatory compliance, and person-centered care. At least 75% of work hours are direct support.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Program Oversight:
  • Develop and manage the residential facility, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and individual needs.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Regional Centers, licensing agencies, and community partners.
  • Ensure culturally appropriate care for residents and encourage family or support network involvement.

Leadership & Supervision:

  • Recruit, train, supervise, evaluate, and, if necessary, terminate staff.
  • Provide ongoing staff development, including training in behavioral support, crisis management, medication administration, and emergency intervention.
  • Chair meetings and facilitate team collaboration on treatment planning and resident care.

Resident Support:

  • Oversee care plans, including Individual Behavioral Support Plans (IBSPs), progress reports, and medication management.
  • Coordinate residents' participation in adjunctive therapies, community programs, and other support services.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents, reporting incidents as required.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
  • Maintain program operations in compliance with Title 17, Title 22, and all other relevant regulations.
  • Participate in quality assurance audits, ensuring that facilities are prepared for both announced and unannounced inspections.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
  • Complete and review accurate progress notes, incident reports, and other required documentation.
  • Maintain referral logs and statistical reports as necessary.
  • Community Engagement:
  • Act as a liaison with county, state, and community service providers.
  • Facilitate residents' integration into community programs and ensure necessary transportation arrangements.

Qualifications:

Education & Certification:

  • High school diploma or GED (required).

Must have a certification in one or more of the following:

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
  • Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT).
  • Qualified Behavior Modification Professional.

Experience:

  • Minimum of two years of experience providing direct supervision and services for individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Prior administrative or managerial experience in a the field.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Advanced understanding of developmental disabilities, complex behaviors, and psychotropic medications.
  • Familiarity with Individual Behavioral Support Plans (IBSPs) and behavior management strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual and bicultural candidates are strongly preferred.

Special Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and auto insurance.
  • DOJ/FBI background clearance and TB clearance.
  • Completion of CPR and First Aid training.

Continuing Education Requirements:

  • Minimum of 20 hours of continuing education annually in topics related to developmental disabilities, behavioral support, and program management.
  • Completion of required HIV and TB training within six months of hire, with updates every two years.
  • Must meet ongoing continuing education requirements per Health and Safety Code Section 1562.3(f)(1).

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and navigate multiple flights of stairs.

  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and emotional stability.

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
