What you bring to SBHG (qualifications):

  • Master’s Degree in a mental health field
  • MHSII - One (1) year of experience in a mental health field OR completion of social work, marriage family therapy or professional clinical counselor practicum program within an SBHG agency. Experience should be with children or adolescents in residential or outpatient settings preferred.
  • License or Certification
  • MHSII - AMFT/APCC/ASW BBS registration
  • Valid California Driver's License.

How you will make a difference (job overview):

This position has primary responsibility for providing mental health services and case management services to children or adolescents and their families referred to Community Services. Services may include engagement, assessment, evaluation, individual/family/group therapy, and case management. The position acts as liaison with external agencies and functions on teams with other clinical and support staff. In addition, the position documents and bills for mental health and case management services and completes outcomes information.

Division/Program Overview:

  • Community-based program
  • Flexible Integrated Treatment (FIT) provides services and support to children and youth ages 0-21
  • Individual, Family and Group Therapy, rehabilitation services and skill building, crisis intervention, Child Family Team meetings, medication support and linkage to community resources
  • Walk-in’s welcome (Tue 8:30 am -12:30 pm and Thu 1:30-5:30 pm)
  • After Hours On-Call
