What you bring to SBHG (qualifications):
- Master’s Degree in a mental health field.
- Will Consider:
- Awaiting BBS registration number (time limited)
- MHSII - One (1) year of experience in a mental health field; experience should be with individuals in residential or outpatient settings preferred.
- MHSIII - Two (2) years of experience in a mental health field; experience should be preferred with children or adolescents in residential or outpatient settings.
- License or Certification
- MHSII - BBS Associate (AMFT, ASW, APCC) registration, or awaiting BBS registration number
- MHSIII - LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW license in California
- Valid California Driver's License.
How you will make a difference (job overview):
This position has primary responsibility for providing mental health services and case management services to individuals and their families referred to as Community Services. Services may include engagement, assessment, evaluation, individual/family/group therapy, and case management. The position acts as a liaison with external agencies and functions on teams with other clinical and support staff. In addition, the position documents and bills for mental health and case management services and completes outcomes information.
Division/Program Overview:
- Focus on providing prevention and early intervention to individuals (10 to 25) who are at risk of experiencing early psychosis.
- Working as a team to provide quality and comprehensive care to individuals and their families.
- Sessions are in the community, clinic, home and some telehealth.
- We provide services to individuals and families throughout Santa Clara Count.
