What you bring to SBHG:

  • Master’s degree in a social science field required, plus two (2) years of experience working in a behavioral health field, and registration as an Associate
  • BBS registration as AMFT, ACSW, or APCC required
  • Valid California Driver's License
  • Bilingual in Spanish Preferred

How you will make a difference:

  • Identifies immediate risks and needs of youth/TAY and family and develops a plan to address them in collaboration with the treatment team.
  • Identifies ongoing treatment needs and develops plan for referral.
  • Uses a “whatever it takes” approach to provide services in various settings, including homes, schools/work, and community and office settings.
  • Uses personal vehicle to drive to and from offsite locations to provide services. May be required to transport participants and/or family members in personal vehicle.
  • Provides services, including individual, family, and group therapy and collateral, to youth/TAY and their families, as deemed necessary and appropriate through the assessment process and in collaboration with the treatment team.
  • Available for 24/7 on-call services to assist in crisis intervention and to provide support for problem resolution. On-call is scheduled on a rotating basis.
  • Documents all services provided in a clear and concise manner within the Electronic Health Record within the timelines and framework established by Central Star.

In accordance with California law, the grade for this position is 68,640.00 - 98,178.07. Placement within the grade is determined based on experience, internal equity, and other factors permitted by law.
