Qualifications:

· Solid demonstration of Medi-Cal Documentation standards

· Solid demonstration of Boys Republic Documentation standards

· Previous experience working in Mental Health programs with at-risk youth. Quality Assurance background preferred but not required

· Clearance of TB test, physical exam, fingerprints, and any other mandatory State/Federal requirements

· Computer literacy with PC computers

· Ability to structure and perform routine tasks

· Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team

· Positive people skills in person and via email; appropriate boundaries

· Fair and impartial

Job Duties:

· Obtain and maintain thorough understanding of the requirements of Medi-Cal documentation.

· Work in collaboration with Clinical Operations Manager to ensure proper completion of documents.

· Maintain regular contact with Clinical Supervisors regarding concerns and documentation needs of Clinicians and Care Coordinators

· Participate in internal, county, and state audits as necessary.

· Track required paperwork to ensure that it has been completed and received according to established program, county, and state guidelines.

· Review Mental Health Client charts. Provide feedback on needed corrections. Follow up to determine corrections are made.

· Review discharged charts for closure. Provide feedback on remaining discharge tasks and needed corrections. Close discharged charts when appropriate. Communicate closures immediately to Clinicians and Clinical Supervisors and weekly to Clinical Operations Manager.

· Provide individual coaching/training sessions on-site and via telephone/email as needed.

· Complete Weekly Intake Review of charts in Clinical Intake status to ensure accurate and timely completion.

· Review progress notes as directed by Clinical Operations Manager.

· Monitor Clinician Due Dates tracking sheet weekly to ensure timeliness and accuracy. Provide findings to Clinical Supervisors.

· Attend QA meetings as directed by Clinical Operations Manager.

· Additional duties as requested by Clinical Operations Manager.

· Maintain yearly CANS certification.

· Attend In-Service Trainings as required.

· Complete on-line training as required.

· Demonstrate understanding of the complex roles and caseloads of Clinical staff

· Available for Head of Service (HOS) back up coverage

Accountability:

Reports directly to Clinical Operations Manager or his/her designee.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38.00 - $39.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:

• Licensed Clinician: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• LMFT (Required)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Required)
• LPCC (Required)
