Group Home (GH) Trainer

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Group Home (GH) trainer to deliver training programs for, new and existing administrators, support personnel working in group home care settings. The trainer will be responsible for teaching the GH 40-hour initial certification and continuing education in compliance with California Title 22 and Community Care Licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, social services, education, or a related field preferred not required. 
  • Certified GH Administrator required.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a licensed GH or similar care setting.
  • At least 1 year of experience delivering training or leading staff development sessions.
• Certifications:
  • GH Administrator Certificate (active and in good standing).
  • CPR and First Aid certification
• Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Title 22, Health & Safety Code, and other relevant regulations.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office, Zoom, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish or other language) is a plus.
