Job Title: Full-Time BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) and School Aide
Location: San Francisco, CA (Private School Setting and Private Household)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
Compensation: DOE (~$150-$175k annually, monthly medical stipend available)

Position Summary:
A San Francisco family is seeking a full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and School Aide to support their young child in a small classroom setting at a private school. The BCBA will work closely with the school’s instructional staff, therapists, and the family to create and maintain a supportive, structured learning environment tailored to the child’s developmental, emotional, and behavioral needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Accompany the child to school daily and assist him as needed throughout the day
• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and use data to inform classroom-based behavioral goals
• Design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) within the school setting
• Collaborate closely with the school’s educators, therapists, and the child’s family to ensure consistent support
• Integrate behavioral strategies into the school day, including transitions, peer interactions, and learning activities
• Coach teachers and staff on the implementation of behavior strategies and provide support as needed
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of progress and update goals as the child’s needs evolve
• Participate in regular team meetings to align on progress, challenges, and next steps
• Promote a nurturing and emotionally supportive approach in all interactions with the child

Ideal Candidate:
• BCBA in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) for at least 10 years
• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience supporting children with autism or related developmental differences
• Experience working within school settings, especially private or specialized education environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with both school staff and families
• Professionalism, adaptability, empathy, and discretion
• Deep commitment to supporting neurodiverse learners with compassion and respect

• The child attends a private school with small class sizes
• The BCBA will be an essential member of a multidisciplinary team focused on the child’s whole development
• Occasional travel may be requested
