Direct Care Staff

What a Direct Care Staff job duties include but not limited to

• Supervise youth at all times (eyes-on supervision)
• Build positive relationships with youth
• Implement behavior plans and house rules
• De-escalate conflicts and prevent crises
• Transport youth to school, therapy, appointments
• Cook meals / assist with daily living skills
• Conduct room checks & safety checks
• Write shift notes / progress notes 
• Document incidents and behaviors
• Support youth with hygiene, routines, and structure
• Participate in team meetings and trainings
