Job Overview:

Graceful Day Home Care is currently seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Caregivers, Home Care Aides, CNAs, and HHAs to provide in-home care services to clients in Morro Bay, California.

This is a full-time position with two available shift options. Shifts are available Monday through Sunday, and you will have the opportunity to choose from weekday or weekend shifts.
The current available shifts are:

• 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM (midday shift)
• 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (overnight shift)

Please Note: We are looking for a caregiver who is dependable, committed, and interested in a long-term position. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to grow with a stable, supportive, and compassionate home care team.

Job Summary:

As a caregiver at Graceful Day Home Care, you will support elderly or disabled clients in their homes by offering companionship, supervision, help with daily tasks, and potentially some personal care. You’ll play an essential role in helping clients live safely and comfortably at home, while giving families peace of mind.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with light housekeeping duties (laundry, dishes, tidying, etc.)
• Prepare light meals, including meals that can be stored and reheated
• Run errands, such as grocery shopping or pharmacy trips
• Offer supervision and safety monitoring
• Assist with personal care tasks (if required), such as bathing or dressing
• Follow the care plan and communicate any changes in the client’s condition to the supervisor

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience in caregiving, home care, or related field preferred
• CNA or HHA certification a plus (but not required for all positions)
• Ability to follow a care plan and adapt to client preferences
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must pass a background check and TB screening
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be dependable, kind, and have a genuine desire to help others

Pay: $21.00 per hour
