Job Description

**$1,000 Hiring Bonus**

What you bring to SBHG (qualifications):

  • Master’s Degree in a mental health field;
  • MHSII - One (1) year of experience in a mental health field OR completion of a social work, marriage family therapy or professional clinical counselor practicum program within an SBHG agency. Experience should be with children or adolescents in residential or outpatient settings preferred;
  • MHSIII - Two (2) years of experience in a behavioral health field; Children or adolescent in residential or outpatient setting preferred;
  • MHSII - AMFT/APCC/ASW BBS registration;
  • MHSIII - LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW license in California;
  • Valid California Driver's License.

How you will make a difference (job overview):

This position has primary responsibility for providing mental health services and case management services to children or adolescents and their families referred to Community Services. Services may include engagement, assessment, evaluation, individual/family/group therapy, and case management. The position acts as liaison with external agencies and functions on teams with other clinical and support staff. In addition, the position documents and bills for mental health and case management services and completes outcomes information.

Division/Program Overview:

  • School based outpatient program.
  • Provide services at designated school sites and in the community year-round.
  • Services offered: Individual, family and group therapy, parent support groups, case management, collaboration with school staff.
  • Serve youth ages 5-18 years.
  • Services offered are trauma informed and culturally responsive.
