Job Summary: The BHT is responsible for coaching the clients during their stay within our network of facilities. This position will directly handle sober living and the transition between there and residential 24-hour treatment.

Pay Range: $19-25/ hr.

Duties and Responsibilities:

● Work directly under Program Coordinator to ensure for safety of all clients

● Work as a team with program coordinators, program manager, and clinical staff to provide care and client experience

● Assist in medication protocol: Self-administered medication and medication audits

● Ensure that all staff are trained on emergency life support protocols

● Coordination of client transportation and assistance with client activities

● Creating and maintaining a safe, comfortable, and client-focused treatment environment

● Maintain strict client confidentiality/HIPAA compliance

● COWS / CIWAS assessments conducted as scheduled

● Complete client charting on electronic healthcare software, including KIPU

● Adherence to facility policy and procedures, State & Federal law, and Joint Commission accreditation regulations and standards

Qualifications and Skills

● Bachelor's Degree in human services fields or related, or associate degree in psychology

● 1-2 years of SUD/ Mental Health treatment experience

● License/Certification: RADT-I or greater

● Current CPR/First Aid Certification

● Valid CA Driver's License

● Health Screen

● TB (Provided by employer if needed)

Salary: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
