We are seeking a strong, hands-on Assistant Administrator to support operations at an Adult Residential Facility serving adults with developmental and behavioral needs.

This is a working leadership role — not a desk-only position. MUST CURRENT HOLD AN ARF CERTIFICATE OR BE COMPLETING THE ARF CERTIFICATION COURSE. MUST POSSESS RSO CERTIFICATE FROM REGIONAL CENTER.

The Assistant Administrator will support staffing, compliance, and daily operations while working directly with residents and staff. They will report to the homes Administrator.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations in compliance with Title 17 & Title 22 regulations
  • Assist in supervising, training, and holding Direct Support Professionals accountable
  • Help manage staff schedules and ensure proper coverage at all times
  • Oversee and audit documentation, including:
  • Daily progress notes
  • Medication Administration Records (MARs)
  • Special Incident Reports (SIRs)
  • Staff and client files
  • Support residents with ADLs, behavior plans, and independence goals
  • Monitor and manage Personal & Incidental (P&I) funds
  • Ensure the facility remains clean, safe, and compliant
  • Assist with medical appointments and follow-up care
  • Respond to incidents and ensure proper reporting procedures
  • Participate in on-call rotation

Minimum Qualifications Required:

  • Minimum 2–3 years experience in an Adult Residential Facility (ARF) or similar setting
  • Minimum 1 year supervisory or lead staff experience
  • DSP I & DSP II
  • CPR / First Aid
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
  • Must possess RSO certificate from Regional Center
  • Currently Enrolled or completed an ARF Administration Certification program

Preferred:

  • ARF Administrator Certification
