The Administrator must be at least 21 years of age or older.
The Administrator must have successfully completed an approved 35-hour administrative program for Adult Residential certification .
The Administrator must have at least one to two years of working experience in a residential facility or related experience.
The Administrator must maintain a valid California driver's license.
The Administrator must have knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision, appropriate to the residents.
Recruit, employ, and train qualified staff, and terminate the employment of staff that performs unsatisfactory.
Provide or ensure the provision of services to the consumers with appropriate regard for Residents physical and mental wellbeing and needs, including those services identified in the resident's preadmission appraisal.
Make sure that all residents are treated fairly and served with utmost respect and courtesy by employees and guests. Protect resident rights and ensure that their privacy is not violated.
