Key Responsibilities

    •    Program Leadership & Operations:

    ◦    Lead day-to-day operations of the STRTP home, ensuring safety, quality, and therapeutic integrity

    ◦    Develop and implement program policies, procedures, and schedules

    ◦    Oversee admissions, discharges, and case plan coordination

    •    Regulatory Compliance & Licensing:

    ◦    Maintain full compliance with Title 22, WIC 11460–11489, and other CCR standards

    ◦    Prepare for, host, and respond to licensing audits, county site reviews, and accrediting bodies

    ◦    Ensure timely reporting of incidents, care plan updates, and required documentation

    •    Staff Supervision & Development:

    ◦    Recruit, train, and supervise direct-care staff, therapists, and support personnel

    ◦    Conduct regular performance evaluations and staff meetings

    ◦    Facilitate ongoing professional development in trauma-informed care and evidence-based interventions

    •    Clinical Coordination & Quality Assurance:

    ◦    Collaborate with licensed therapists to review individual treatment plans and progress

    ◦    Implement quality-improvement initiatives based on data, feedback, and best practices

    ◦    Monitor safety protocols, incident management, and crisis response

    •    Budget & Resource Management:

    ◦    Develop and manage the program budget, ensuring cost-effective operations

    ◦    Oversee procurement of supplies, equipment, and facility maintenance

    ◦    Track billing, revenue, and financial reporting in partnership with the finance team

    •    Community & Stakeholder Engagement:

    ◦    Build and maintain relationships with county agencies, referral sources, and community partners

    ◦    Represent YCE at local advisory boards, stakeholder meetings, and community events

    ◦    Advocate for youth services and strengthen program visibility

Qualifications

    •    Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field (required) + 2 Years Experience OR

    •    Bachelor's Degree  in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field (required) + 3 Years Experience

    •    Valid California driver’s license and satisfactory driving record

    •    Minimum 3 years of leadership in residential mental health or foster care settings, including STRTP experience

    •    In-depth knowledge of California STRTP regulations (WIC, CCR Title 22) and CCL licensing processes

    •    Strong financial acumen, budgeting, and grant-management skills

    •    Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution abilities

    •    Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive care
