Job Summary:
Intensive Services Outpatient Therapists assigned to Adult Housing Supportive Services Program (HSSP) provide mental health services including individual, group and family therapy at the clients’ housing placements. The Intensive Services Outpatient HSSP Therapist will be working within the context of a team to provide intensive mental health to clients referred through the Department of Mental Health. The HSSP Therapist will complete an initial assessment and develop the clients’ care plans to meet the guidelines of the Department of Mental Health. The HSSP therapist works collaboratively with the team which includes Intensive Case Management Services staff, Community Worker, and psychiatrist to assess clients’ needs and to coordinate all the services that the client receives. The HSSP Therapist documents all services according to DMH and Penny Lane guidelines.
The HSSP Therapist possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills when working with clients, outside agencies, members of the community, and co-workers. When in a client’s home or in the field the HSSP Therapist will employ a calm demeanor and good ethical and professional boundaries. Excellent clinical skills are used to assess the appropriate level of care for clients and stabilize clients in crisis. Teaming, collaborating and coordination of care with all Penny Lane staff, ICMS, DMH, and other outside agencies is crucial. This position requires flexibility, excellent time management skills and the ability to manage responsibilities efficiently with little supervision.

Salary Range: $77,726 - $98,616 per year
Additional $5,000 per year bilingual Spanish differential
$5,000 SIGN ON BONUS! (Issued in two installments: $2,500 upon date of hire and $2,500 upon successfully completing the six month introductory period).
Hybrid work schedule and service delivery via telehealth on occasion available.
Flexible schedules are available upon successful completion of introductory period.
