About the Role

Oak Tree Homes Inc. is looking for a visionary clinical leader to serve as the Head of Service (HOS) and Clinical Director for our Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP). This is a unique hybrid role designed for a clinician who loves both high-level program development and direct, transformative work with youth.

You will be the primary clinical authority for our facility, ensuring our program meets the rigorous standards of Riverside County DBH and California Medi-Cal (EPSDT), while personally guiding the therapeutic journey of the youth in our care.

What You’ll Do

• Clinical Leadership: Oversee all mental health services, provide clinical sign-off on assessments, and lead a trauma-informed culture.
• Direct Therapy: Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions, maintaining a small, focused caseload.
• Compliance Mastery: Ensure all Admission Statements, Mental Health Assessments, and Treatment Plans are completed within strict STRTP timelines (5-day cycles).
• Crisis Intervention: Provide leadership and stabilization during critical incidents, participating in an on-call rotation.
• Collaboration: Represent Oak Tree Homes in Child and Family Team (CFT) meetings and coordinate with Riverside County social workers and probation officers.

The STRTP Clinical Cycle

As the Head of Service, you will manage the following critical compliance milestones for every youth admitted to our care:

Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

• Active CA BBS License: Must be a currently licensed LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC. (Associate licenses cannot be considered for this specific HOS role).
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in behavioral health or residential treatment.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Deep familiarity with Medi-Cal/EPSDT documentation and California STRTP regulations.
• Clearance: Ability to pass a comprehensive criminal background check (FBI/DOJ), TB test, and health screening.
• Driver’s License: Valid CA Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
