About the job

About who needs care: She had a stroke. Paralysis on right side. Speech impaired somewhat. Wears diapers or pull ups. In a wheelchair when out of bed. Needs to be in her wheelchair at least two or more hours a day. Assist with transfer from bed to chair. And back to bed. Assist with feeding , brushing her teeth and hair. About the care needs: Speaks English in a clear and precise manner. Funny, outgoing understanding. Patience is very important. Ability to transfer from bed to wheelchair and back to bed. Change diapers. Clean her up after changes. Help with shower needs. Brushing teeth and hair. Assist with feeding Take her out for walks in her wheelchair daily. She would like to have someone sit and watch Hallmark channel, mystery and drama shows as well as comedy and news. Play card and board games. Thats all I can think of right now. Could be more or less as she progresses. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
