Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning and preparation.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote emotional well-being.
- Observe and report changes in client conditions or behaviors to appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Support clients with transportation needs within the home and community.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping tasks.
- Offer direct support for individuals with special needs or disabilities, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Assist with medication reminders and adherence as directed by healthcare providers.
Experience
- Previous experience in home health or community care is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with patient observation techniques behavior management.
- Experience in social work or direct support roles will be beneficial.
- Skills in cooking and meal preparation are highly valued.
