What you bring to SBHG:

  • Applicants must have attained the age of 18 years of age
  • Bachelor’s degree in child counseling, development or psychology, or related social science field, or nursing license (LVN, LPT, RN) Or Six (6) or more years of QA experience in a Mental Health Agency or County Behavioral Health Program will be substituted as equivalent to a bachelor’s degree.
  • One (1) year residential care experience or equivalent inpatient psychiatric experience required.
  • One (1) year quality assurance experience required
  • Valid California Driver’s License.
  • Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
  • First Aid certification from persons qualified by agencies including but not limited to the American Red Cross

How you will make a difference:

The Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for the Quality Assurance Program.   The position is responsible for auditing documentation to reconcile with billing and oversees documentation of services by staff to assure conformity with Medi-Cal, County, other outside agencies, and internal standards and policies. QA Coordinator manages all charts with deficiencies by processing them to the appropriate department for correction. QA Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the discharged chart is closed in the correct order and completed.  Position oversees the Continuous Quality Assurance program, medical records and records all CQI data.

Division/Program Overview:

​The Crisis Residential Treatment (CRT) is a short-term voluntary residential facility designed to help adults aged 18 and older experiencing a psychiatric crisis to safely stabilize, recover, and transition back to the community. Services include therapeutic and mental health services, rehabilitation and recovery services (including substance use rehabilitation), pre-vocational or vocational counseling, medication evaluation
